Now in our 3rd decade of working with the mining industry, Phillips is the largest independently owned supplier of rebuilt and repaired underground coal mining equipment and repair services in the world.

In 2000, we decided to become an OEM with the proto-type Freedom Car introduced at MINExpo 2000 in Las Vegas.  This was in answer to the need for a batch haulage vehicle that would compliment the increased production of the modern continuous miner.
